HOW FULL ARE YOU PART TWO

Sunday morning as the pastor was preaching he mentioned Gal. 5:22 the fruits of the spirit, how sweet it is when the Lord shows you something & backs it up with conformation

we mentioned in part one how we are to be full of power

full of joy

full of the holy ghost

full of faith

full of glory

full of grace

full of truth

full of light

full of compassion

full of praise

full of good works

full of goodness

full of knowledge

full of peace

full of mercy

full of good fruits

Gal.5 :22 are the gifts of the spirit

love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,

goodness, faith, meekness, temperance

we should always study to show ourselves approved

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

if we know the word then we know the truth & the truth is in us causing the nine gifts of the spirit to flow in our lives

BE THANKFUL

Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.

EUCHARISTEO

The Greek word  Eucharisteo means thankfulness, Jesus gives thanks as they partake of the Lords supper, he offers up thanks at the feeding of the five thousand, this word Eucharisteo stood out as it kept popping up over & over upon reading the book One Thousand Gifts

bookchallenge01

In One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are, Ann strives to find the meaning of life and fully embrace the surprising truth from the final scenes of Jesus’ earthly life. In the hours before Jesus’ execution, he took bread and gave thanks. This fresh, heart-wrenching book unveils the long forgotten wonder that through the imitation of Christ’s thankfulness, we too can experience a life of joy.

as the pages turn ,the tears fall as you read of how one woman  reaches out for joy through her darkest hours, the pages leave  you with anticipation of what will happen at the end of the book, simple things that are taken for granted  are added to the list of one thousand gifts
