This past Sunday as we pulled into the church parking lot, I noticed a spider lily standing all alone ,my mind swept to sweet memories of my Husbands grandmother who always had rows of these old thyme flowers edging her front yard ,as I began to ponder on how interesting it was that no matter how many times you cut them down, they always pop back up, their roots seem to run deep
Did you know that’s how we are to be? we are to be rooted in the word so deep that when the enemy cuts us down ,physically, spiritually, mentally, we come back strong, as I looked at this one little spider lily, knowing that it’d be cut down next grass cutting day , that it’d be back because it was created to bloom
You were created to bloom, don’t let anything hinder you from shining your light so that those who walk in darkness may see the light
Isaiah 35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
