WITH ALL THY MIGHT

{love this}

Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Is there something you are gifted to do? Do you do it well? Is it a blessing to others?  It can be as simple as making a batch of cookies cookie07 ,Whether great or small, the things God has instilled in us are to be used for his glory & to bless others, which  Matthew reminds us of

Matthew 25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
Matthew 25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made [them] other five talents.
Matthew 25:17 And likewise he that [had received] two, he also gained other two.
Matthew 25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
Matthew 25:19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
Matthew 25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
Matthew 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
Matthew 25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine.
Matthew 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, [Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
Matthew 25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and [then] at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
Matthew 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give [it] unto him which hath ten talents.
Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

I love to can things when i have the chance, guess it comes from my childhood of growing up with grandparents gardening, churning butter, etc.this past week I took a group of ladies to pick peaches, yea they sell them in stores  but miss the fellowship & the laughter? no way! canning  takes time, it takes patience, it heats up a kitchen in a hurry but oh what a blessing to make someone a homemade peach cobbler or  a pie or a jar to do as they like, you just never know the blessing God has in store those peaches, so whatever you set your hand to do, be sure to do it with all your might  & give thanks to the one who instilled the ability  & the wisdom to do it

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Agree 100%

we can live in a house but a home is what we make it,I can remember when in the beginning when we’d rent a place,I could never make it my own because first of all it wasn’t my own & limited to what all you can do & knowing that you’d be leaving one day, but when we bought that first house & it began to become home, there was a sense of belonging, the overwhelming joy of knowing we could paint, hammer, anything we wanted to make it our own
the virtuous woman is a good example of loving our home & making it our own

Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies.
Proverbs 31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
Proverbs 31:12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
Proverbs 31:14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
Proverbs 31:15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
Proverbs 31:16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
Proverbs 31:17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
Proverbs 31:18 She perceiveth that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goeth not out by night.
Proverbs 31:19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
Proverbs 31:20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
Proverbs 31:21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household [are] clothed with scarlet.
Proverbs 31:22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing [is] silk and purple.
Proverbs 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
Proverbs 31:24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth [it]; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness.
Proverbs 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her.
Proverbs 31:29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Proverbs 31:30 Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

she loves her husband, she loves cleaning her home, cooking, she sews, she blesses people with the works of her hands, she is always available for advice, she is a caregiver, she is a prayer warrior, she’s a gardener, notice in these scriptures how she blesses others as she is blessed
whatever stage we are in,renting or buying,we can strive to be like the Virtuous woman for as long as Jesus abides there ,call it home

A BEAUTIFUL PROMISE

Genesis 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
Genesis 9:12 And God said, This [is] the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that [is] with you, for perpetual generations:
Genesis 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Genesis 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which [is] between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Genesis 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that [is] upon the earth.
Genesis 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This [is] the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that [is] upon the earth.

upon coming home from our sweet grandson's 2nd birthday party yesterday,it had rained off & on but there was this beautiful reminder of God’s promise that he talks to Noah about in Genesis, the next time you see a rainbow, be still & embrace it’s beauty & be reminded of God’s promise, what a mighty God we serve!
