ARE YOU A PRAYER WARRIOR?

 

PRAYER WARRIOR: A Christian who prays continually and effectively for others

Eph.2:6 tells us to pray boldly with confidence

Matt.6:9 tells us to pray to the father

 Jude 1:26 tells us to pray in the power of the Holy Ghost

John 14:13 tells us to pray in the name of Jesus James 5:16 reminds us to pray for  ourselves as well as one another

pray for one another that ye may be healed, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much

those three words effectual, fervent, availeth mean to produce a desired effect, to show great emotion, to be of help, this sounds like getting down to business & interceding to me

throughout the Bible there are prayer warriors,Moses,Samuel,Paul,Elijah just to name a few, did they just pray? or did they intercede?be sure to check back when we talk about interceding

never stop praying!

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing

MATT:26:41 watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation ,the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak

pray for yourself!

John asked Jesus to teach them how to pray and he said unto to them

when ye pray, say our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is  in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Prayer is a powerful thing my friend, I encourage you to study deeper into prayer,enrich your study by researching words like pray, prayer warrior, deliver,effective,boldly, forgive,

you have to forgive to be an effective prayer warrior, you have to be rooted in the word to come boldly to the throne & as you get into prayer it will lead you into interceding, there is no end to learning Gods word!

JOHN’S HOME!

PRASIE REPORT FROM MY SISTER :JOHNS MOTHER-N-LAW

John just got released from the hospital!!!!!!!! Oh my word! This is the miracle that you guys have been praying about with me and my family...just a few weeks ago the doctor said let him go out peaceably...they gave no hope of him ever waking up...liver failure and kidneys shut down...said he was as good as brain dead and would never function even if he woke up....the doctors said they can't explain it but his liver started back up and kidneys started working...he is tired and weak but he is still here with us and right now he is one happy man!!!!!! Praise the Lord... what a mighty God we serve!!!!!!!

3 weeks ago today was the darkest hour my family has ever known...the phone rings..Tracy crying on the other end trying her best to talk...within minutes the whole family was racing to the hospital...John was taken to Intensive Care...doctors gave no hope...with every passing hour the reports got worse...toxin levels off the charts..liver fried...kidneys shut down...no oxygen getting to the brain......all our spirits could hear was death...all our eyes could see was death..the hurt was so huge it crushed my heart for my daughter and John and all my babies....we are a strong family in faith knowing and always believing in God and His miracle working power for we have see it many times in our lives..when one of us hurts we all hurt...but this..this was a nightmare we couldn't wake up from...the doctors said he was dying and told Tracy to let him go...John's mom was flying in...his daughter driving from Oklahoma...they put him on life support...their plan was to pull the plug once his mom and daughter got there and had a chance to see him...but God heard our cry...the rest of the family arrived...negative reports from every test kept coming....then it happened...John started breathing over the machine on his own...kidneys started working....toxin levels came down.and the fried liver being to improve small changes but they were blessing and cause for rejoicing with us with each test result....even with all that the doctors said he would never function and basically be a vegetable even if by some miracle he did wake up....and he did wake up....and he did talk...and he did come off life support and he did go home!!!! My heart is so full....so thankful that I know God...so thankful my babies know the power of prayer....so blessed to have witnessed this miracle....so blessed with such a loving network of praying family and friends....I sit here even now with tears flowing...I love the Lord with all my heart and soul...I praise the Lord for this day...'with man it is impossible...but with God ALL things are possible'....never give up hope

once again thank you all for taking thee time to call John's name out, there is power in  the name of Jesus!

 

 

 

 

 

DO YOU WEAR MANY HATS?

the many hats we wear are gifts from God but the greatest gift of God is eternal life through Jesus (Romans 6:23) & if we are faithful we shall wear that last & final hat

(1Peter 5:4) ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not

(Rev.2:10) unto death and I will give thee a crown of life

just a few of my hats that I wear

as a child of God I strive for a deeper walk each day,to be a willing vessel & always give him praise

as a wife I stand in agreement for our spiritual,physical,financial needs

as a mom I'm only a phone call away with an open heart,bended knees & ears to listen

as a Nanna I'm a playmate,a friend,a counselor,an adviser

as a neighbor I am a wittiness that God is able

as a church member I am a prayer warrior

as a friend,my door is always open

as a speaker I study to show myself approved

as a singer, I sing because there is an empty tomb

I WILL CALL UPON HIS NAME

I love the Lord because he hath heard my voice and my supplications, Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live,The sorrows of death compassed me and the pains of hell gat hold upon me,I found trouble and sorrow,Then called I upon the Lord, I beseech thee deliver my soul,gracious is the Lord and righteous yea our God is merciful,The Lord preserveth  the simple, I was brought low and he helped me

Psalm 116:1-6

oh what a testimony! God is about to do something in John's life, the doctors said that they were shocked & amazed at how much he has improved that they truly believed he would be dead by now & he would had been had the pressure that first night been to hard for Tracy to bear but she held on to faith for the life of her husband ,his liver has improved fifty percent from two weeks ago and is twenty to thirty percent functioning, he is on  a soft diet  , John has come a long ways & still has a long road to walk, what a mighty God we serve!never give up on a love one, you ay be their only hope to the entrance to the throne room!

 

UPDATE ON JOHN

Thank you all for your heart felt prayers for my nephew-n-law John, this afternoon the Physical Therapist sat him up on the side of the bed & he was taken completely off the ventilator! so far he is holding his own, he is still in need of healing for his liver

when there seemed no way God may a way, when doctors gave no hope there was hope in a mighty God , in that darkest hour the light still shone through,when death was so near, there was mercy, we serve a mighty God while you still have breath within you don't waste another minute by not living for him

GOD IS MOVING!

Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might he increaseth strength

First & foremost we give God all the praise & glory for how far John has came, although he is not completely out of the woods yet & is still in need of a miracle, God has came through right on time

my sister had this to say as I opened the computer this morning

John opened his eyes yesterday!!!!!!! Moved his head ..lifted his legs and nodded yes and no to questions...motioned to Tracy that he wanted to write but still to weak to work the pen...he still has a long road to go...but we take each little number ...each little movement as a huge blessing since the doctors first said he would never wake up...and if he did he would never function basically a vegetable...But praise the Lord there is a God who still seeks to show Himself strong to those who dare to believe Him..please continue to lift us up in prayer...just so thankful for you guys and your love and kindness....never doubt what your prayers and love can do......love you guys

John is still in critical condition, the doctors' are only giving him a50/50 chance we have have seen God move where they was no hope, where  there was no way he made a way, we don’t know what the outcome of Gods final plans are but we do know that he is in control, in the beginning the doctors were pressuring Tracy to end it but she cried out for mercy, she determined to see hope

we don’t always understand  the big why’s in our life but for now God has chose to wake him because some doctor that said he’s never wake up needed to witness a miracle, another  that said he’d be a vegetable & never respond if he does wake up now sees him responding to pain , sees him responding to voice commands sees him lifting his legs & arms up, looking around the room trying to talk, some family member  in a nearby room needed to be reminded that as long as there is breath there is hope, families in the waiting room needed to witness this family believes in prayer

John is still in serious condition, they tried taking him off the ventilator this morning but he struggled to breath on his own, he is however breathing @ 40% on his own, they will continue dropping the percentage but they can only leave him on the ventilator for so long & then they will want want to talk about  trek, we want John breathing on his own so please continue to pray! his liver is showing some activity but there is still a lot of damage

PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS WE STAND IN THE GAP FOR A MIRACLE

 

I pray that all of you are experiencing  a great start to the New Year, at some point in your day could you just whisper the name John, he lies in ICU on life support, his life is hanging by a thread, my niece Tracy is devastated, doctors are pressuring her to make decisions, brothers, sisters, cousins, mothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews huddled in a waiting room believing for a miracle

through  the years of blogging I’ve seen followers come & go if there’s nothing posted quick enough, I’ve even had a friend tell me once that if  a blogger goes two days without posting she deletes them, I know I’m probably not the most exciting blogger to follower & I do get behind more than once & I’m not going to go into a long spill as to why I blog but if you’re gone  you’ll be be sadly missed

for at this time my place is beside my niece who is hurting for her husband, my place is beside my sister who is hurting for her daughter, my place is beside nieces & nephews  who are hurting for their sister, my place is beside  little ones who don’t understand why we can’t run & play, why we have to be quite but more importantly my place is at the feet of Jesus crying out for mercy for John
