HAVE YOU ANY TALENTS

Talent:a mental or physical aptitude,natural or acquired ability, natural ability of a superior quality, a variable unit if weight & money used in ancient Greece,Rome & the Middle East


Throughout the Bible talents are referred to as weights or money but in Matt.25 we see where Jesus is referring the word talent to a talent, the ability to use the gift within you & the importance to use it

Matt.25:15 And unto one he gave five talents to another two and to another one,to every man according to his several ability and straightway took his journey

throughout the chapter we see two took their talents & traded & doubled their talents & one hid his to make sure he had it in case something happened but God so displeased with the one who hid his talent,throughout the chapter the word talent is referring to money & they were to spend & make profits on that which they had to multiply

the same way with our God given talents we are to use them to multiply them for the glory of God, a simple thing as taking care of your household is a talent as we read in Prov.31 The Virtuous woman, whether it's taking a neighbor a meal, singing, teaching, speaking,baking,ministering to the sick,interceding,prayer warrior, witnessing, even decorating is a talent,what ever your talent is know that it is a gift from God & not to be taken lightly nor hid under a bushel
