FOR THE LOVE OF FLOWERS

Who doesn’t love to receive flowers,perhaps you're an outdoors person & love to be surrounded with flowers, building flower beds etc.do you have sweet memories of those sweetheart roses on Valentines Day? is it as important to you now to receive flowers as it was back then?Flowers have always played a big role in Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries,graduations, dates, Proms,hospital stays, special occasions, weddings & so forth

A flower is the reproductive structure of a seed bearing plant, when we see signs of flowers blooming & birds singing we know Spring is near just like in the Song Of Solomon

The flowers appear on the earth,the time of the singing of birds is come and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land (Solomon 2;12)

what’s better than receiving flowers? Look around & see the blessings of the Lord,when our grass needs cutting these yellow flowers are everywhere among other wild flowers

God gives us flowers everyday & aren’t those the best kind?

The next time you see flowers pop up ,know that God loves you!

CALLING ALL PRAYER WARRIORS

 

I received a phone call that an Uncle of mine was rushed to the hospital, his blood pressure is bottomed out, & his kidneys are shutting down, the doctors are only giving him a 50/50 chance of survival but God is able to turn things around, this involves more than just prayers for my Uncle, there are children involved(cousins) grandchildren,a wife, sisters/brothers, as I pray for my Uncle,my cousins & my Aunt I also stand in for the heartache my mother feels as she lifts her sister up in prayer , so you see when the enemy attacks he doesn't just attack that one, he attacks a whole family & families of those families, so when you pray, please remember my Uncle Paul Nipper and all of those involved standing in the gap for this miracle

HE IS RISEN

 

I REMEMBER CALVERY

Where he may lead me I will go

For I have learned to trust him so

And I remember twas for me that he was slain on Calvary

Jesus shall lead me day and night

Jesus shall lead me all the way

He is the truest friend  to me

For I remember Calvary

as I was going through some of my older song books I noticed one had all the Easter hymns together, so this was kind of neat how this particular songbook choose to arrange the songs in this manner

And behold there was a great earthquake for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it, his countenance was like lighting and his raiment white as snow,And for fear of him the keepers did shake and became as dead men, And the angel answered and said unto the women fear not for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified, He is not here, he is risen as he said, come see the place where the Lord lay (Matt.28;2-6)

93 TO DATE!

The ladies of my church has been working hard, well me too lol!  we’ve been sewing for Little dresses for Africa for about two weeks now & we have 93 ready for shipping,there’s anywhere from 5-8of us meeting each week for a fun day of fellowship & sewing,we had to pull in an extra table to set up machine as we had 2 new faces join us this week                                              

Faye patiently waits as for finished dresses to run the ribbons through at the cut out table  as I have named her our ribbon lady lol the table at the other end is our cut out table, then passed to the next for sewers to pick up & sew

sweet Melissa(@ machine) was off work & stopped by to fix our lunch,’sweet!” her sister snagged her & taught her to sew, great job getting us one more sewer Debbie! by the way Melissa caught on really fast & said she’d be back next week!

we whipped out 15 this week plus ones that some took home to work on so our count should be well into the 100’s when we meet back next week, Lee& I will meet early Tue. morning & have a cutting day that will put 2 extra at the machines oh my!

I use to at the end of the day when it was time to retire to bed, I’d fall asleep to the sound of Sound of Andy Griffith , yea I’m that old, lol! I still watch that old show from time to time but it’s so good to retire with a good book that is Bible based,

you still have time to get your book & join in, love the cover of this book!

I’ve got mine ordered though our local Bible bookstore, shipping was way to high on places like Amazon , you may could find it in your local library

tomorrow the ladies of my church will come out & sew for Little Dresses For Africa, we’ve had such great fellowship& getting a lot done, we have a table of all the sizes cut out & every Sun. /wed. night some of the ladies go back & grab  a few & coordinating ribbons & binding etc. to take home to make & bring them on our sew days, Debbie brought in 6 Sun. & Lee took home  I think  it was 5 cut out to sew together, speaking of Lee I have to remember to go pick her up in the morning lol!

our Little Dresses For Africa project is growing, we had some of the ladies bring in more today that they’d made at home over the weekend  , we had 160 spools of thread donated today,we will meet at the church Tuesday for another fun filled day of fellowship, laughter & lots of sewing, after church we rearranged “again”  & laughed how we’re going to have to take new pictures seeing that our supplies & dress count has grown

What a fantastic start we’re getting on our Little Dresses For Africa project

we had five that were able to come out this week & sew, what a  great time of fellowship we had! there was fabric’s, ribbons, lace, threads etc galore!

we even had time to throw in a sewing lesson or two , a few of the ladies brought in some that they’d made at home to church tonight so we’ll need a new picture lol! we hung the extras & rearranged & planned our next sewing day
